Vote In Honor of a Vet

In an effort to honor the role that America’s men and women in uniform have played in securing our privilege to cast a ballot each Election Day, the Bradford County Supervisor of Elections office is proud to announce the implementation of the Vote in Honor of a Vet program.

Citizens are encouraged to bring old military photos of friends or family to the Supervisor of Election’s office in the North Wing of the Courthouse. Photos of active military personnel will also be welcomed.

These photos will be scanned and returned, and citizens will be asked to fill out a biographical information form on the subject. The bio forms will be kept in a notebook inside the Election’s Office for interested citizens to request for inspection.

Photos will be displayed outside the Election’s Office in the hallway of the north Wing of the Courthouse on what will be known as the “Wall of Honor”. As an additional way to honor these veterans, friends and/or family who submit photos and bio sheets will be given a “Vote in Honor of a Vet” pin that can be worn on Election Day.

Stop by and browse the Veterans on the Wall of Honor and come in to look at the Biography Forms
